8th Grade Sunrise Breakfast

On the 2nd Day of School, the 8th graders in Miss Powers’ class made origami cranes and wrote their wish for 8th grade on them.  On the morning of April 18th, 8th graders  met at the softball field at 6:45am to reflect on their wish and then ate a French Toast Breakfast in the cafeteria.

On the morning of April 18th, 2017 we arrived at school before the  sun came up.  The one reason to get a teenager out of bed that early...food.  Miss Powers invited us 8th grade students to school for breakfast and to burn our wishes before we ate.  We all walked out to the filed to burn our wishes.  We put all our wishes in a bucket and Miss powers set them on fire.  On the menu was french toast sticks, ham and sausage.  I would like to thank Miss Powers for organizing this event for us 8th grade students.  We will always remember the look on her face when the bucket started to melt!
