Photo Walks –

Students learn how to use the camera settings on their i-Phones to take exceptional photos.  They explore “the rule of thirds”, “leading lines”, manual focus and manual exposure, learning to take portraits and also using many different techniques to further their interest in photography. They also research a famous photographer and write up a short biography on their person. The photos taken during the quarter are displayed on a bulletin board in the main hallway.  At the end of each quarter, there is a photo contest and winners earn a gift card from The Bean.
